The Alden Gallery launches its 2014 season with “SEVEN,” a themed group show.

Provincetown, MA: The Alden Gallery will launch its 2014 season with “Seven,” a themed group show opening on Friday, May 23, 2014, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the gallery’s exhibit space at 423 Commercial St. Drinks and refreshments will be served; the gallery is open to the public and free. The exhibit will be on view through June 26.

In honor of its seventh anniversary season, the Alden asked all its gallery artists to contribute work for this show that in some way — graphically, physically, or metaphorically — relates to the symbol (“7”) or concept of “seven.” The artists are: Ed Christie, Kevin Cyr, Cathleen Daley, Alice Denison, Joerg Dressler, Robert Glisson, Raúl Gonzalez III, Paul Kelly, Robert Morgan, Mark Palmer, Paul Pedulla, Linda Reedy, Anne Salas, Mike Wright, and Laurence Young.

The gallery will be open Friday 6-10 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday 11 a.m.-9 p.m.; and Monday 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Memorial Day weekend.
