echo Art Fair, Buffalo NY: May 13–15, 2016

The Alden Gallery is proud to announce its participation in the echo Art Fair in Buffalo, New York, which will be held May 13–15 at OSC Manufacturing & Equipment Services Inc., 1001 E. Delavan Ave. Along with the gallery, five Alden artists were chosen to exhibit their work: Ed Christie, Kevin Cyr, Joerg Dressler, Raúl Gonzalez III and Catherine McCarthy.

echo Art Fair is a juried fine art exposition that connects experienced collectors and first-time buyers with emerging and established local, regional and international artists in a centralized and creative environment. The 2016 venue for the fair is part of the former American Axle and GM factory, which was designed by Albert Kahn, the most influential industrial architect of his day, and offers an ideal opportunity to showcase the intersection of fine art and architecture. echo Art Fair showcases a broad scope of fine art disciplines, including painting, photography, sculpture, print, works on paper, video and mixed media and performance art, from artists all over the world.

The jurors for the 2016 echo Art Fair were Eric Shiner, executive director, The Andy Warhol Museum, Pittsburgh, PA; Scott F. Propeack, associate director, Burchfield Penney Art Center, Buffalo; Michael J. Beam, curator of exhibitions and collections, Castellani Art Museum of Niagara University, Niagara Falls, NY; Michael Tomor, executive director, Tampa Museum of Art, Tampa, FL; Shirley Verrico, curator, Buffalo Arts Studio, Buffalo; and Eric Jones, public arts curator, Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Buffalo.
