I am enjoying the process of evolving at my work. My background in architecture and my love of Provincetown images provide inspiration for sketch books full of soft pencil drawings. In my paintings, I have tried to capture some of the spontaneity of my sketch book drawings. Artists such as Thiebaud, Hopper, and Diebenkorn, as well as instructors at the Provincetown Art Association and Museum (Megan Hinton, Mary Giammarino, Karen Cappotto, and John Clayton) and at the Fine Arts Work Center (Joel Janowitz) have influenced the way I look at my art.
