My contemporary paintings are representational yet minimal. There’s a simplicity that draws you in and a depth that finds you frequently discovering something new.

What you see is a moment, often revealing a relationship between neighboring houses, a building and the sky, a road and the landscape, the sky and the sea, figures in an environment or a window and the world it views.

I’m drawn to an uncluttered sensibility both on my canvasses and in day-to-day life. What I leave out of my paintings is probably as important as what I put in.
