“SQUARE,” A themed group show—May 22 – June 25

The Alden Gallery will launch its 2015 season with “Square,” a spring group show opening on Friday, May 22, 2015, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the gallery’s exhibit space at 423 Commercial St. Drinks and refreshments will be served; the gallery is open to the public and free. The exhibit will be on view through June 25.

For the “Square” show, the Alden Gallery asked all its artists to contribute new work that is dimensionally square—and let their ideas take off thematically from there. The artists are: Ed Christie, Kevin Cyr, Cathleen Daley, Alice Denison, Joerg Dressler, Robert Glisson, Raúl Gonzalez III, Jo Hay, Paul Kelly, Catherine McCarthy, Robert Morgan, Mark Palmer, Paul Pedulla, Linda Reedy, Anne Salas, Heather Toland, Mike Wright, and Laurence Young.

The gallery will be open Friday 6-10 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday 11 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Monday 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Memorial Day weekend.
